A bag stop ring allows the correct positioning inside the filter, the ring is inserted in the special seat of the filter bag.

The bag during the filtration process increase load loss. The basket, made of perforated plate or wire mesh, contains it and supports it. The fluid passes through the bag from the inside to the outside.
